Hall of Fame
Stephane Shellenberger (Class of 1974) was the second coach/leader to be inducted in the 2023 Hall of Fame class. Shellenberger was one of the most influential people to walk through Southern Nazarene University Athletics, notable for her work with Volleyball, Cross Country, and Track & Field. Not only did Shellenberger begin the collegiate Volleyball program at BNC/SNU in 1976, she also served as the SNU Assistant Athletic Director for 15 years and was a part of the faculty for 45. She was a five-time NAIA Volleyball Coach of the Year and led volleyball to become Bi-District Champions in 1983 and 1984 and District 9 Champions in the same years.
