Southern Nazarene University Athletics

Claud Cypert, President and CEO of Cypert Enterprises in Oklahoma City, and his wife Betty have been loyal supporters of SNU athletics for more than forty years, donating more than $1,000,000 to Southern Nazarene University’s Athletic Department. They have also established the Claud and Betty Cypert Athletic Endowment, which currently totals almost $2,000,000. On February 22, 2000, Southern Nazarene University unveiled a brand new Claud and Betty Cypert Athletic Complex, which serves SNU’s baseball and softball teams. It boasts two adjoining fields on 40 acres of land, including a 4,200 square foot hitting and pitching facility.

Claude has served the booster club as Storm Chaser president for eight years, leading some of SNU’s most ardent fans. If you come to an athletic event, just look for a friendly smile under a cowboy hat. It will probably be Claud Cypert.
