BETHANY, Okla. — Entering its first year as a full active member in NCAA Division II, Southern Nazarene looks to make a deep run in its first shot at the Great American Conference Tournament.

That first run though starts Sept. 5 and it comes against former Sooner Athletic Conference foe Lubbock Christian.

The Crimson Storm are coming off a season in which it went 12-2 in the GAC and finished second in the conference while going 27-12 overall. SNU returns four All-GAC selections and bolsters a solid incoming class.

The home schedule starts with a bang as the Storm host Midwestern State, Sept. 16, for the first match inside the Sawyer Center and then host Oklahoma Baptist Sept. 19 and open GAC play Sept. 23 against Southwestern Oklahoma State. The Storm have 12 home matches slated and the GAC Tournament will be played in Hot Springs, Ark., Nov. 13-15.Â
