Southern Nazarene's rally fall short as the Bison take the match in a five set thriller

SHAWNEE, Okla. — Southern Nazarene battled back from a two set deficit on the road, but Oklahoma Baptist held off the Crimson Storm comeback in five sets Thursday night in Shawnee.

The Crimson Storm (9-6, 1-2 GAC) looked to pick up their first victory over the Bison since 2019 as they fought until the end but ultimately fell 25-18, 25-13, 23-25, 20-25, 18-16 to the Bison (11-4, 3-0 GAC).

Oklahoma Baptist grabbed early momentum in the first set, using a 15-kill effort on .277 hitting to take a 25-18 win despite 12 kills from SNU.
