Box Score ARKADELPHIA, Ark. — The train just keeps rolling for Southern Nazarene as it won its fourth straight match and moved to 4-0 in Great American Conference play with a 3-1 (25-23, 25-20, 14-25, 25-22) win over Ouachita Baptist.

The Crimson Storm (11-5, 4-0 GAC) have gone 10-2 over their last 12 and nearly got a career-high out of
Jamie Hope.

The senior middle was just one kill short of tying a career-high with 16 kills and hit .306 on the night. Hope also notched her fifth double-double as she posted 10 digs.
Taylor Jacobs also had 10 kills while
Emily Dick and
Kira Roberts each had eight. Piatt also notched 33 assists on the night and recorded a season-high 15 digs.

Abbey Bell also had 13 digs while
Sheridan Steele recorded a season-high 11 digs.

Southern Nazarene trailed by as much as six in the first set and were down 18-12 when an OBU error sparked a 13-5 run by the Storm to close out the set. In the middle of that run SNU trailed 21-16 when it got a Roberts kill and three straight errors by the Tigers to close it to 21-20. OBU led 22-20 when Roberts ripped two kills to tie it at 22 and then Jacobs gave SNU its first lead of the set at 23-22. An OBU error gave the Storm set point at 24-22 and Jacobs put it away with a kill to give SNU a 1-0 lead.

The Storm led from start to finish in the second set and cruised to a 2-0 lead, but OBU fired back as it hit .297 (13-2-37) in the third set and held Southern Nazarene to a .024 (9-8-41) clip in the set. The Tigers led early and never let up to make it 2-1.

There were nine ties in the fourth and final set with the final one coming at 16-16. Two straight errors by the Tigers gave SNU an 18-16 lead and the Storm never trailed again.

Southern Nazarene now gets set to finish the Arkadelphia trip with a 1 p.m. match at Henderson State.Â
