2021 Women's Soccer All-GAC Teams
WEATHERFORD, Okla. – The Great American Conference All-GAC lists are out and the Southern Nazarene Women's Soccer team has three appearances under the All-GAC Honorable Mention award section.
Kaitlyn Deaton, Natalie James, and Eden Holetzky have each received the All-GAC Honorable Mention honor for the 2021 Fall season.
Deaton, a sophomore forward, started in all but one of the Storm's 18 games and logged a total of 1,497 minutes throughout the 2021 season. She scored a total of five goals, notched six assists, and finished with a .532 shot on goal percentage with 25 of her 47 shots taken in range. Deaton also achieved a hat-trick this season where she scored a career-high three goals against East Central.
James, a senior defender, was an integral part of SNU's defense starting in all matches played this year. She logged a total of 1,612 minutes and had three of her thirteen shot attempt son goal.
Holetzky, a junior defender, also helped the Storm's defensive front as she started in 17 of their 18 matches logging 1,276 minutes on the season. She tallied one assist and one shot on goal on the year.
The Storm squad will look to build off this year as they prepare for next Fall where the Storm will suit back up for the 2022 season.
