SNU Collects 2025 All-GAC Women’s Soccer Honors

Crimson Storm players earn spots across First Team, Second Team, Honorable Mention, and Academic Honors

RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. - The 2025 All-GAC Women's Soccer awards are out, and Southern Nazarene University had several players honored after another solid season.

Leading the Crimson Storm, Bella Morgas was named the GAC Offensive Player of the Year. Morgas also earned the honor after her freshman campaign in 2023. She also earned All-GAC First Team honors for the third straight season. The standout forward played and started in all 18 games this season, logging 1301 minutes. Morgas led the Storm with 11 goals, 2 assists, and 24 total points, finishing as the conference leader in both goals and points. 

Joining Morgas on the All-GAC First Team was midfielder Gabriella Ponce, who made an immediate impact in her first season with the Crimson Storm. Ponce started all 18 games, totaling 1,332 minutes. She scored 4 goals, added 3 assists, and recorded 35 shots. Ponce ranks ninth in the GAC for shots per game, 1.94.

On the All GAC Second Team, midfielder Samantha Most and defender Adison Johnson represented the Storm. Most also played her first season with SNU, starting all 18 games and logging 1,335 minutes. She scored 1 goal and added 2 points on the season, along with 24 shots and a .292 shots on goal percentage. Johnson, last year's GAC Defensive Player of the Year, continued her strong play this season. She started all 15 games she appeared in, totaling 1,235 minutes. Johnson tallied 3 goals, 3 assists, and 9 total points while posting a .500 shots on goal percentage. 

Honorable Mention honors went to forward Ella Adams, midfielder Samantha Smith, goalkeeper Gianna Bonnett, and defender JQ Molgaard who was also recognized as a GAC Elite Scholar Student Athlete.

Adams, last year's GAC Newcomer of the Year and First Team selection, had another solid season. She played and started in 17 games, scoring 3 goals and adding 4 assists for 10 points. Adams recorded 33 shots and 12 shots on goal with a .381 shots on goal percentage. She ranks tenth in the GAC in shots 1.94 average and seventh in assists average, .235.

Smith, who earned Second Team honors last season, started all 18 games and logged 1,485 minutes for the Storm. She scored 3 goals and added 3 assists, finishing with 21 shots and a .333 shots on goal percentage.

Bonnett, who also earned Honorable Mention last season, started all 17 games in goal for the Storm. She totaled 1,388 minutes, recording 79 saves and a .767 save percentage, earning five wins on the season.

Molgaard appeared in 16 games with 12 starts, playing 1,005 minutes. She contributed 1 goal and 2 assists while adding 5 total shots for SNU.

Southern Nazarene also had several players recognized for their efforts in the classroom, earning spots on the GAC Academic Honor Roll: Ella Adams, Mallory Bennett, Kaira Boah, Gianna Bonnett, Madaline Bullard, Millicent Butler, Quinnlan Edens, Jerhyn Lewis, Bella Morgas, Samantha Most, Hailey Najera, Natalie Nolen, Samantha Smith, and Grace Tomlinson.

The Crimson Storm wrapped up another season and continue to make their mark in the GAC both on the field and in the classroom.
