DENTON, Texas — Andrew Leahey qualified for NCCAA Nationals in the 1500 meter run with a seventh place finish and a time of 4:04.59 as Southern Nazarene competed in the North Texas Classic Saturday.
Leahey also placed fifth in the 800 meter run with a time of 1:59.93 while
Grayson Haws took second with a 1:53.76.
Sterling Wright took seventh in the 100-meter dash running a 11:08.
Airick Johnson took second in the 110-meter hurdles with a 14.51 while Deandre Vick took third in the 400-meter hurdles.
The 4x400 meter relay team took first place with a 3:21.03.
Colin Pasque took first in the pole vault clearing 4.42 meter while
Jake Stephens took second in the discus throw with a throw of 50.12 meters. Stanley Hunter took third in the high jump clearing 1.85 meters.
On the women's side,
Megan Johnson took third in the 1500 meter run with a 4:50.69 while
Aliyah Nolan took seventh in the 100-meter dash running a 12.83. Cheyenne Hornback took second in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:10.03.
SNU will now compete in the KT Woodman race in Wichita Kan., next Saturday.
