BETHANY, Okla. — When all the talk started at the beginning of the season, this is what most people expected when Southern Nazarene came up in conversation. In their highest point total of the season, the Crimson Storm had no problem in a 107-79 win over Mid-America Christian.

The Storm (14-3, 7-2 SAC) have won nine of their last 10 and looked to be hitting on all cylinders as they shot 54.3 percent (38-70) from the field and 45 percent (9-20) from outside.

Sophomore C.J. Henry posted a career-high 30 points; a team season-high for points scored in a game, and had five of those nine 3-pointers. He went 10-for-12 from the field and 5-for-6 from downtown. He also went 5-of-7 from the free throw line and added four rebounds as well.

Horace McGloster added 16 points and 11 rebounds for his third double-double of the year. Xavier Alexander chipped in with 12 points while A.J. Thomas had 11. Alexander dished out six assists while Thomas had four and four rebounds as well.

The Crimson Storm were no match for the Evangels (9-7, 5-5 SAC) in the paint as SNU outscored MACU 50-14 and doubled points off turnovers, 28-14. Southern Nazarene forced 16 turnovers and scored 16 points off of fast breaks.

Eleven different people got on the board as Jeremy Lightfoot and Daniel While each added eight points as well.

SNU held the Evangels to just a 37.9 percent performance and never trailed the entire game.

The Storm were off and running from the opening tip and didn't let off the gas peddle until the final horn. SNU had already taken a 16-point lead midway through the first half and extended it to 33 right before heading into the locker room with a 67-35 lead.

It didn't take long for the Storm to take its biggest lead of the game as Alexander put SNU up 84-43 with 14:47 left to play.

MACU did make a run to close the gap to 23, but it was too little too late as SNU cruised to its four straight win.

The Crimson Storm now get set to host John Brown for an 8 p.m. conference game, Thursday.
