RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Great American Conference announced its postseason honors, and the Southern Nazarene men's basketball team landed two All-Conference selections in Baron Bracey and Tracy Godfrey Jr.
Bracey, a senior guard from San Diego, California, earned his second career all-conference nod after picking up Second Team honors a season ago. He continued to establish himself as one of the league's premier guards, averaging 14.1 points per game to rank eighth in the GAC in scoring. Bracey was also dominant on the glass, leading the conference with 234 total rebounds. He closed the regular season with 10 double-doubles, showcasing his ability to impact the game on both ends of the floor.
Godfrey, a senior from Lubbock, Texas, collected his first career all-conference recognition, earning All-GAC Honorable Mention honors. A force in the paint for the Crimson Storm, Godfrey pulled down 173 rebounds this season, ranking sixth in the conference. He also provided a consistent scoring presence as SNU's second-leading scorer, averaging 10.8 points per game.
Three Crimson Storm members also earned GAC Academic Honor-Roll recognition: Luca Cawthorn-Breheny, Brady Cook, and Xavier Ridenour.
Southern Nazarene now turns its attention to the GAC Tournament, entering as the No. 4 seed. The Crimson Storm will face the No. 5 seeded East Central Tigers on Friday, March 6 at noon inside Northside Arena in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
