•    Ranked fourth on the team with seven blocks as a freshman for the Cougars

•    Prepped at Malcom X Shabazz High School in Newark, N.J
•    Was a two-time Watchung Conference Player of the Year
•    Averaged 21 points, 17 rebounds and seven blocks a game as a senior
•    Led the Bulldogs to a state title as a junior and was a nominee for the 2006 McDonald’s All-American Team
