SHWAWNEE, Okla. — There was no let down for Southern Nazarene in a 105-45 win over St. Greogry's, Saturday night, coming off a loss in the SAC opener.
In fact, the Crimson Storm (6-2, 1-1 SAC) came out firing in the first road conference game of the season as four players scored in double figures and nearly had seven in double figures.
C.J. Henry led the way with 21 points and five rebounds as he went 8-for-14 from the field and sank four 3-pointers. The sophomore has hit at least four treys in three different games this year.
Horace McGloster notched his second straight double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds and also picked up a season-high seven steals. Xavier Alexander and Jeremy Lighfoot each added 14 points as Alexander added five rebounds and four assists while Lighfoot matched a season high for points and didn't miss a shot from the field going 6-for-6. Lightfoot also recorded four steals.
Jon went was one point and one rebound short of a double-double with nine points and nine boards while Milos Milosevic and A.J. Thomas each scored eight points. Milosevic also added five rebounds.
The Storm shot 55.7 percent (39-70) from the field and 40 percent (8-20) from beyond the arc. SNU also went 19-for-27 at the line (70.4 percent). Southern Nazarene also turned the ball over as season-low nine times and forced 23 turnovers.
SNU held the Cavaliers to just 15-for-61 shooting from the field and 5-for-24 from 3-point range.
The Crimson Storm now get set to take on Science and Arts of Oklahoma, Monday, at 8 p.m.
