BETHANY, Okla. – The Southern Nazarene University Track and Field program and head coach Martha Brennan have announced the addition of Hope Gray to the coaching staff.
"We are so excited to have Hope in our program," said Brennan. "She is passionate about coaching and, more importantly, committed to helping guide our young people in their faith journey."
Gray comes to Bethany after a decorated career at West Texas A&M University. She graduated from West Texas A&M with a degree in Exercise Science before earning her master's degree in Sport and Exercise Science.
During her athletic career, Gray competed in the weight throw, discus, hammer throw, and shot put. She recently earned Second Team All-America honors in the hammer throw and was a member of the Buffaloes' 2026 NCAA Division II Women's Outdoor Track and Field National Championship team.
"I am excited and grateful to join the SNU Track and Field program, where I hope to use my experiences as a student-athlete and coach to encourage, mentor, and help athletes grow both in their sport and in their faith," said Gray.
She joins Coach Brennan and Coach Covington as they look to build on a strong 2025–26 season, during which the women's team earned a fifth-place finish at the GAC Championships.
