Storm Compete in Coffeyville

Top finishes and NCAA Provisional marks lead the way

COFFEYVILLE, Kan. - The Crimson Track and Field team traveled to compete in the Dean Pryor Invite, hosted by Coffeyville Community College.

On the men's side, Josh Montelongo placed third in the 400 meters with a time of 48.89, and Maximus Washington placed fifth in the 400 meters with a time of 49.37. In the 800 meters, Riley Patton placed eighth with a time of 2:02.61.

Jacob Humphrey placed sixth in the 5000 meters with a time of 18:14.60. In the 110 meter hurdles, Korbyn Asencio placed sixth with a time of 16.77, Brendan Cravens placed seventh with a time of 16.92, and Karson Hetherington placed eighth with a time of 17.10.

In the 400 meter hurdles, Asencio placed eighth with a time of 1:02.02, and Hetherington placed 10th with a time of 1:03.86.
In the pole vault, Tyler Deisering placed first with a mark of 4.30. In the long jump, Karson Hetherington placed seventh with a mark of 5.98, and Jessiah Burris placed 11th with a mark of 4.05.

In the triple jump, Burris placed third with a mark of 13.00, earning a NCAA Provisional mark. In the shot put, Coltor Bufford placed second with a mark of 13.07, and Dylan Warden placed seventh with a mark of 11.32.

In the hammer throw, Warden placed sixth with a mark of 38.72. In the javelin, Bufford placed first with a mark of 62.65, earning a NCAA Provisional, and Warden placed fourth with a mark of 49.04.

On the women's side, in the 400 meters, Jasmine Brown placed fifth with a time of 1:06.38, Chloe Chlouber placed sixth with a time of 1:06.50, Reagan Rowton placed seventh with a time of 1:09.97, and Tiffany Watson placed ninth with a time of 1:11.63.

In the 800 meters, Abbey King placed seventh with a time of 2:45.96.

In the pole vault, Remi Murray placed first with a mark of 3.45. In the long jump, Murray placed second with a mark of 5.05.

In the shot put, Abriel Thrash placed first with a mark of 12.82, Eve Brennan placed second with a mark of 11.46, Sarah Herring placed ninth with a mark of 8.93, Murray placed 10th with a mark of 7.95, and Ivy Brennan placed 11th with a mark of 7.78.

In the discus, Brennan placed second with a mark of 40.00, and Herring placed sixth with a mark of 37.12.

In the hammer throw, Brennan placed third with a mark of 43.60, and Herring placed 15th with a mark of 32.18. In the javelin, Thrash placed first with a mark of 34.94, and Ivy Brennan placed sixth with a mark of 20.04.

Next Up 

The Crimson Storm will travel to Shawnee, Oklahoma to compete in the OBU Invitational March 28th -March 29th.
