NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Arkansas – The Great American Conference announced its 2024 Baseball All-GAC Awards and Southern Nazarene had two award winners for the 2024 season. 

Southern Nazarene had two athletes tab in on the Honorable Mention list: Colby Entwistle and Jacob Martinez. 

A senior from Edmond, Oklahoma, Colby Entwistle was one of SNU's leading hitters, cracking out a total of 52 hits, 13 doubles, four home runs, and 26 RBIs in the Storm uniform. He amassed a batting average of .289 and .439 slugging percentage across the 2024 season, making him one of SNU's deadliest members at the plate. 

A graduate student from Ventura, California, Jacob Martinez made a lot of noise in his first season with the Storm and the last of his collegiate career. He led the team in batting average with .359 and in hits with 61. He recorded a total of 14 doubles, three triples, six home runs, and 32 RBIs, causing issues for pitchers within the GAC all season long. Martinez also worked to finish the season with a .582 slugging percentage, ranking second in the conference in triples and 9th in doubles, closing out the season strong for SNU. 

Southern Nazarene finished the season 12-38 overall and 6-27 in conference. Grant Ledbetter's squad looks to build off of this season with a great group of athletes returning to Bethany for the upcoming 2025 season.
