BROKEN ARROW, Okla. – The Southern Nazarene women's golf team opened their second tournament of the Fall season on Monday at the 22
nd Annual NSU Women's Golf Classic hosted by Northeastern State. After SNU posted a team score of 337 in the first round, they find themselves in 16
th place heading into tomorrow's final round.
The Crimson Storm didn't have their best stuff at the par-72, 5917-yard Indian Springs Golf Club as they had one player finish in the 70's to begin the event. Junior
Emilie Jackson paced SNU with a 78 as she finds herself tied for 40
th on the individual leaderboard. Sophomore
Sara Armstrong carded an 80 to sit tied for 53
rd while freshman
Carley Haught came in with an 89 on Monday.

Rebecca Davis rounded out the Storm lineup as Garrett finished with a 90 and Davis with a 91 heading into tomorrow's final round. SNU is positioned 13 shots behind Newman and 16 behind Southern Arkansas.
Henderson State sits atop the team leaderboard heading into tomorrow's final round as the Reddies lead Rogers State by four shots and Northeastern State by 11. HSU's Daphney Tilton holds a one stroke lead over her teammate Gracen Blount.
