Women's Golf Competes in Final Tournament of the Fall

Whittern leads SNU in final fall tournament at the Tulsa Cup

BROKEN ARROW, Okla. — The Southern Nazarene University Women's Golf team wrapped up its fall season this week at the Tulsa Cup, held at Forest Ridge Golf Club in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. The Crimson Storm finished 17th as a team after posting rounds of 329, 331, and 333 for a three-round total of 993 on the par-72, 5,904-yard layout.

Haley Whittern once again led the way for SNU, finishing tied for 14th individually at +11 after rounds of 75, 74, and 78. Riley Rinner followed with rounds of 79, 85, and 79 to finish at +27, while Gracelynn Nickell carded rounds of 86, 85, and 87 to come in at +42. Esther Santos recorded scores of 89, 87, and 89 (+49), and Addison Hoefar rounded out the lineup with rounds of 95, 96, and 103 (+78).

Arkansas Tech captured the team title at +19, and their own Ellen Spigner claimed the individual crown at 1-under par.

The Crimson Storm will return to action in the spring when they host the Diffee Ford Lincoln Invitational on March 2–3 at KickingBird Golf Club in Edmond, Oklahoma.
