Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 MONTICELLO, Ark. — Southern Nazarene dropped both games of a doubleheader at Arkansas-Monticello falling 4-1 in the opener and 11-0 in the nightcap.
 
Austin Cooper went 2-for-2 in the opener as he led the way for SNU with two of the Storm's five hits.
 
Monticello scored one each of the first two innings to lead 2-0 before pushing it to 4-0 in the bottom of the fourth. SNU got on the board in the top of the fifth on a Dillion Feland bunt single that scored Garrett Perez. That was the only time the Storm touched the plate though.
 
Neither team scored the rest of the way.
 
David Gustafson (0-3) got the start and took the loss after giving up four runs on seven hits. He struck out three in five innings of work. Jefferson Harris gave up just one hit in three innings of relief and struck out four.
 
In the nightcap, SNU had just one hit as Perez went 1-for-2. Cody Tolbert (1-3) took the loss as he gave up just one run on one hit and threw just five pitches before leaving the game with an elbow injury.
 
The Weevils scored four in the first and added one in the third to lead 5-0. SNU kept Monticello scoreless for the next two innings before UAM scored six in the sixth to take the 11-0 lead.
