Final Results
 
HILLSBORO, Kan. — Southern Nazarene's Colin Pasque and Garrett McGrady tried to hit qualifying standards for the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field National Championships and both came close to hitting the provisional standards.
 
Colin Pasque took second in the pole vault as he cleared 4.57 meters (15-0). The provisional standard is 4.76 meters. Garrett McGrady also took fourth in the shot put with a 14.92-meter throw (48-11.5) which left him just a meter off of the 15.95 standard.
 
The Storm will have another chance at hitting marks, Saturday, at the Southwestern College Relays.
