Box Score SHAWNEE, Okla. — Oklahoma Baptist scored seven runs in the bottom of the second inning and it was too much for Southern Nazarene to overcome, as the Bison defeated the Crimson Storm 12-6.
 
The Storm (15-27) got on the board in the top of the third inning when Riley Morrow doubled to right field to score Caleb Teel and made the score 7-1. SNU scored its second run of the game in the top of the fourth when Kyle Fultz scored off a single to left field by Damian Santamaria to make the score 7-2. The Bison answered with a pair of runs in the bottom of the fourth to extend their lead to 9-2.
 
OBU (37-6) scored another run in the bottom of the fifth to take a commanding 10-2 lead. SNU though, added four runs in the top of the seventh to cut the lead to 10-6. Santamaria scored on a wild pitch to make the score 10-3 and shortly after Austin Samulowitz hit a sacrifice fly to center field to score Teel and made the score 10-4. SNU scored its final runs of the inning when Chance San Miguel hit a double to right field to score Morrow and O'Donnell. The Bison then went on to score two runs in the bottom of the seventh and sealed the game from there.
 
Fultz went 3-for-4 with a run scored while Morrow went 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored.
 
Thomas Schellhardt (5-6) took the loss for the Storm giving up six hits and seven runs in three innings pitched.
 
SNU will now travel to Southern Arkansas for a game, Friday, at 6 p.m.
