Box Score BETHANY, Okla. — Southern Nazarene tallied 11 hits and 11 RBIs as the Crimson Storm earned a Great American Conference win at home knocking off Henderson State 13-11.

SNU (12-20, 4-17 GAC) struck first with a run in the first inning when Michel Lowe hit a single to left field to score
Ryan O'Donnell and gave the Storm an early 1-0 lead.

The Reddies (14-21, 9-12 GAC) answered in the second inning with four runs to take their first lead of the day at 4-1.

SNU fought back when
Ryan O'Donnell reached first base on a bunt and sent
Chance San Miguel home to make the score 4-2. The Storm went on to add five more runs in the inning.
Riley Morrow hit a sacrifice fly to left field to score
Matt Wellman and brought SNU within one run 4-3. SNU then tied the game when
Dillon Feland hit a single to right field to score O'Donnell to make the score 4-4 and shortly after SNU retook the lead at 5-4 when
Michael Lowe hit a single to right field that scored Feland. SNU scored another run when
Damian Santamaria put it in play to third base to score
Austin Samulowitz and gave the Storm a 6-4 lead. SNU scored its final run of the inning when Lowe scored off of an error at first base to extend the Storm's lead to 7-4. SNU scored three more runs in the bottom of the fourth inning when
Chance San Miguel hit a three run double to right center to give the Storm a 10-4 lead.

The Reddies battled back with three runs in the top of the seventh inning to cut the Storm's lead to 10-7 before SNU answered with two runs in the bottom of the seventh.
Matt Wellman hit a double to right center to score
Chance San Miguel and moments later O'Donnell hit a sac fly to center field to score Wellman an gave the Storm a 12-7 lead.

Henderson State though, refused to go away as they tallied three runs in the top of the eighth inning to cut the Storm's lead to 12-10. SNU tallied another run in the bottom of the eighth when Santamaria hit a single to left field to score Feland and stretch SNU's lead to 13-10 before the Reddies added another run in the top of the ninth inning to make the score 13-11. SNU though, got the final out of the game when Mike Desciosciolo took a ground ball and threw out Tadarious Hawkins at first base and the Storm earned the win.

Dillon Feland went 4-for-5 with an RBI and four runs scored while San Miguel went 3-for-4 with three RBIs and two runs scored. Lowe went 2-for-4 with two RBIs and two runs scored. Wellman had an RBI and two runs scored.

Thomas Schellhardt (4-4) picked up the win for the Storm giving up four hits and six runs in six innings pitched. Descisciolo earned his second save of the season giving up four hits and four runs in three innings pitched.

SNU will now travel to Hillsdale Baptist for a non-conference doubleheader, Tuesday, at 2 p.m.
