Box Score 2 ADA, Okla. — East Central rallied back from being down in both games of a doubleheader to pick up a doubleheader sweep of Southern Nazarene, winning 4-3 in the first game, in 11 innings, before winning 7-6 in the nightcap.

The Crimson Storm actually held a 3-0 lead in the opener. SNU scored the first two off back-to-back hits from
Kyle Fultz and
Chance San Miguel. Fultz ripped a single to left to make it 1-0 before San Miguel doubled to center to give the Storm a 2-0 lead.
Luis Hernandez gave SNU a 3-0 lead when he hit a home run to left to lead off the second.

ECU though scored one in the bottom of the second and two in the bottom of the seventh to tie it at 3-3 and forced extra innings. The Tigers then got a walk off single in the 11
th to pick up the win.

San Miguel went 2-for-5 to lead the way for SNU.
Tyler Wilson (2-3) took the loss after he gave up one run on four hits in 3.2 innings of relief.
Thomas Solowynsky got the start and allowed three runs on six hits in 6.1 innings of work.

In the nightcap, SNU jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the top of the second, but the Tigers answered with two in the bottom of the second. The Crimson Storm added two more in the top of the third with one coming on a
Michael Lowe sacrifice fly to center before San Miguel singled to left to make it 4-2. SNU extended its lead to 6-2 in the fifth on another Lowe Single and a
Damian Santamaria single to right.

The Tigers though cut it to 6-4 in the bottom half and then got within one in the sixth at 6-5. ECU then scored two unearned runs in the seventh to score the win.

San Miguel went 3-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored. Santamaria went 2-for-3 with two RBIs while
Austin Samulowitz went 2-for-4 with two runs scored. Â

Kyle Vail took the loss after giving up seven runs, three earned, on 10 hits and 6.1 innings of work.
