Box Score BETHANY, Okla. — Southern Nazarene earned its third Great American Conference win of the season Saturday as they knocked off Southeastern Oklahoma State 12-11.

The Storm (11-13, 3-12 GAC) scored the games first run in the top of the second inning when
Chance San Miguel hit a single through the left side to score
Kyle Fultz and gave SNU a 1-0 lead. SNU went on to add three more runs in the inning.
Ryan O'Donnell hit a double to center field to score
Damian Santamaria and gave the Storm a 2-0 lead. Shortly after,
Riley Morrow hit a triple down the right field line to score
Ryan O'Donnell and
Scott Stanley. Morrow then found his way home to extend the Storm's lead to 5-0.

The Savage Storm (12-13, 6-9 GAC) answered with two runs in the top of the third inning and cut the Storm's lead to 5-2.

SNU then scored another run in the bottom of the third inning when Stanley hit a double to left field to score Santamaria and gave SNU a 6-2 lead. The Storm then scored a run in the top of the fifth when Santamaria found his way to the plate off of a wild pitch and extended the Storm's lead to 7-2. SNU scored another run in the sixth when
Michael Lowe hit a home run over the left field fence and gave the Storm an 8-2 lead.

SOSU added two more runs in the top of the seventh to cut SNU's lead to 8-4 and another run in the top of the eighth to shrink the Storm's lead to 8-5.

SNU though, added four more runs in the bottom of the eighth including a two run blast from
Kyle Fultz to left center to give the Storm a 12-5 lead. The Savage Storm added six runs in the top of the ninth inning but SNU was able to hang on.

Thomas Schellhardt (3-3) picked up the win for SNU giving up nine hits and five runs in seven innings pitched.
Michael Descisciolo picked up the first save of his SNU career throwing in the final third of the ninth inning.

Lowe went 2-for-4 with two RBIs and two runs scored and Morrow went 2-for-4 with two runs scored an RBI. Fultz hit 2-for-5 with two RBIS and two runs while Stanley went 2-for-3 with an RBI and one run scored.

Southern Nazarene will now host former Sooner Athletic Conference opponent Oklahoma City, Tuesday, at 2 p.m.
