Box Score BETHANY, Okla. —Southern Nazarene limited Arkansas Monticello to only 29.7 percent shooting from the field and outscored the Cotton Blossoms 24 to 11 off the bench in a 72-61 Great American Conference win.

"I felt all around, that was probably our best game of the year both offensively and defensively," said Head Coach
Derek Dorris. "A little stagnant there at the end, but other then that I was really pleased with our effort both on the offensive side and the defensive side."
The Crimson Storm (6-6, 3-3 GAC) started to find a rhythm after taking an 18-10 lead with 9:55 left to play in the first half after
Olivia Chapman drained a jumper off of an assist by
Abby Boyd. SNU took its biggest lead of the half of 11 with 45 seconds to play leading 34-23 on a layup by
Callee Cox. Arkansas-Monticello (5-7, 1-5 GAC) though, hit a jumper and a free throw to close out the half and only trailed by eight at 34-26.

The Storm outscored the Cotton Blossoms 10-5 off the bench in the first half and limited Arkansas-Monticello to only 6-of-26 shooting from the field as the Storm made 12-of-29 shots shooting 41.4 percent. The Storm went to the free throw line eight times in the first half going 7-for-8 from the charity stripe shooting 87.5 percent. Arkansas-Monticello shot 22 free throws in the half but only went 13-for-22 shooting 59.1 percent.

SNU started to break the game open at the 7:10 mark of the second half when
Kristin Milster drained a 3-pointer to give SNU its biggest lead of the game 61-42. The Storm looked to be on cruise control until the Cotton Blossoms put together a 17-4 run to pull within six with only 2:41 left to play. SNU though, finished the game on a 7-2 run to win its sixth game of the season.

Fall, finished the game with her tenth double-double of the season scoring 17 points going 5-of-13 from the field and pulled in 19 rebounds. She also dished out a career-high six assists and blocked six shots while shooting 7-of-10 from the free throw line.
"Any time you have a player that productive, almost get a triple-double, you're gonna be pretty successful most of the time," said Dorris.
Milster scored 18 points and grabbed five rebounds while shooting 5-for-8 from the field and went 2-for-3 from the beyond the arc. Cox scored nine points and grabbed two rebounds while Boyd pitched in seven points.
Danielle Gaddis scored eight points off the bench while Chapman tallied seven. SNU finished 18-of 23 from the free throw line shooting 78.3 percent while the Cotton Blossoms shot 66.7 percent from the charity stripe going 20-of-30. The Storm shot 45.5 percent from the field going 25-of-55 and blocked eight shots. SNU also dished out 18 assists while the Cotton Blossoms only recorded eight.
"I continue to stress to our team to get to the free-throw line more," said Dorris. "We're such a good free throw shooting team. One of the things I'd like to see is attempt more free throws and to take the ball aggressively to the hole and not settling for jumpers."
