Box Score OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. — Just a day after losing two close games of a doubleheader, Southern Nazarene responded with a 9-3 win over Ouachita Baptist to close out the series.

The Crimson Storm (13-21, 7-17 GAC) scored eight of their nine runs in the sixth and eight innings with three in the sixth and a five-run eighth.

OBU (17-17-1, 9-12 GAC) scored first with a run in the third, but a leadoff home run to left by Chance San Miguel tied it a 1-1 in the bottom of the fourth. The Tigers retook the lead with a run in the sixth, but the Storm took the lead for good with three in the bottom half of the inning. Ryan Brosnan tied it with a one-out solo shot to left before Scott Stanley laced a two-run single to left center to put SNU on top 4-2.

The Tigers got within one at 4-3 in the seventh before the Storm put it away with five in the eighth. Kyle Fultz drove in the first two runs of the inning with a double down the left field line before Luis Hernandez singled to left field to drive in another run. An OBU error allowed one more run to score before Riley Morrow singled up the middle to drive in the final run.

Stanley led the way as he went 2-for-3 with two RBIs while Hernandez went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored. Nate Saquilon tossed his fifth complete game of the year as the senior allowed just three runs and scattered 12 hits in nine innings of work.
