Southern Nazarene holds on for a 1-0 win over OC

Berry has two shutouts, one combined, on the year.
Box Score OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. — Matt Berry threw his first complete game shutout of the season as the senior made his final start of his career in a 1-0 win over Oklahoma Christian.

The southpaw from California gave up just four hits and struck out a season-high six in nine full innings. The Crimson Storm also got just enough hits and timely ones in the fourth to pull off the win.

SNU had just two base runners through the first three innings, but led off the top of the fourth with back-to-back singles by Zach Friesen and Chance San Miguel. Friesen then came in to score on an Oklahoma Christian double play. That was the only run of the night and that's all SNU needed.

The Storm had seven hits from six different players while Ryan Brosnan led the way going 2-for-3.

The Crimson Storm now get set host OC Saturday at 1 p.m. for the final doubleheader of the season.
