Box Score 2 ARKADELPHIA, Ark. — Southern Nazarene was held to just five hits in two games by Henderson State in a 7-1, 5-0 sweep by HSU Saturday afternoon.
Jacob Inbody had all three hits in the opener for the Crimson Storm (12-19, 6-15 GAC) and scored the only run on a passed ball. The senior had a single in first, third and eighth innings as he reached base all four times he stepped to the plate. He also walked in the sixth. Inbody was just one of four Storm to reach base.
Tim Coleman (2-7) took the loss after he gave up six runs, four earned on 11 hits in six innings of work.
Chance San Miguel and
Nate Bidelman were the only two players to have hits in the second game for SNU San Miguel singled to left in the first and Bidelman had a pinch hit single in the seventh. The Storm only had five base runners in the nightcap.
Nate Saquilon (3-4) pitched all six innings for SNU as he gave up five runs, four earned, on seven hits.
The Crimson Storm now will play Northwestern Oklahoma State, Wednesday, in Enid, Okla., for a 5 p.m. game.
