Box Score ARKADELPHIA, Ark. — Matt Berry gave up just two runs and scattered eight hits for Southern Nazarene in seven innings of work and
David Kaplan gave up just two hits in an inning of relief, but SNU had just four hits in a 2-1 loss at Henderson State.

The loss snaps the Crimson Storm's (12-17, 6-13 GAC) streak of six straight wins and three straight Great American Conference games.

All four hits came from different players as SNU didn't get on the board until the seventh inning. The Reddies broke the scoreless tie in the bottom of the fourth with a single to left before
Kyle Fultz singled to drive home
Austin Samulowitz to tie it in the seventh. SNU though didn't score again and left four on base on the day, including one in scoring position in the eighth.

Henderson pushed the winning run across the plate in the eighth on a sacrifice fly to right.

Berry fell to 3-7 on the year with the loss.

The two teams will play a doubleheader, Saturday, at 11 a.m.
