Matt Berry notched his second save of the year after facing the minimum in two innings and struck out two. Schellhardt moved 2-1 on the year. All nine starters in the lineup for the Storm recorded a hit as
Scott Stanley led the way going 2-for-4 with a run scored.
Oklahoma City took a 1-0 lead in the top of the first on a single, but SNU answered in the next top half when
Jacob Inbody ripped a two-out single to right center to score Stanley. The Storm took a 2-1 lead in the fourth when Morrow got a two-out infield single to score
Ryan Brosnan.
The Stars tied it at 2-2 in the sixth on a two-out solo home run to right, but SNU got the final say when Inbody was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded in the eighth to cap it.
Southern Nazarene will stay on the road, but gets back into conference play Friday and Saturday with a three-game set with Henderson State.
