Box Score BETHANY, Okla. — Nate Saquilon went 2-for-4 with an RBI and extended his hit streak to 18 straight games as Southern Nazarene los 6-2 to Arkansas Tech in SNU's inaugural GAC opener.
 
The Wonder Boys (7-4, 1-0 GAC) got a complete-game performance out of Ryan Taylor (1-1) who gave up just two runs on seven hits and struck out five. 
Matt Berry nearly went the distance as he pitched 8.1 innings and gave up four earned runs on nine hits.
 
ATU struck first in the top of the second on a sacrifice fly to left and then added another in the third to lead 2-0. The Storm got on the board in the bottom of the third when Saquilon drilled a single to left field to score 
Damian Santamaria.
 
The Wonder Boys added two in the fifth before SNU cut it to 4-2 in the seventh when 
Austin Samulowitz scored on a wild pitch. ATU put it away in the ninth with two more to take the win.
 
The Crimson Storm, now 3-4 overall and 0-1 in the Great American Conference will close the season series with Arkansas Tech, Saturday, with a 12 p.m. doubleheader.
