Box Score BETHANY, Okla. — Nate Saquilon went 3-for-3 with two RBIs, two runs scored and a pair of doubles for Southern Nazarene in a 14-10 loss to Jarvis Christian in the season opener.
The senior reached base five of the six times he stepped to the plate that included a pair of walks. The only time he didn't reach base was a sacrifice fly. He also extended his hitting streak to 12 straight games dating back to the 2011 season.

Austin Samulowitz and
Ryan McIntosh all recorded three hits as well. Santamaria went 3-for-6 with a run scored, while Samulowitz and McIntosh each went 3-for-5. Samulowitz scored two runs while McIntosh drove in three.
Matt Berry took the loss after giving up eight runs, five earned, on nine hits in four innings of work. He also struck out five. Joseph Delfin took the win for the Bulldogs after he went five innings and allowed five runs on nine hits.
Jarvis quickly took a 5-0 lead before SNU got on the board with two in the bottom of the second on a single to right center by McIntosh. The Storm added two more in the third on a Saquilon double and a San Miguel single to cut it to 6-4.
The Bulldogs took an 8-4 lead in the fourth before SNU cut it to 8-5 in the fifth. Jarvis though pushed it out to 10-5 with two more in the sixth. Southern Nazarene rallied for three run in the seventh and another McIntosh RBI single made it 10-9 heading into the ninth, but the Bulldogs added four in the top of the ninth to lead 14-9.
Jacob Inbody tried to spark a rally with a one-out solo home run to left, but that was it for SNU.
The Crimson Storm now host Jarvis Christian, Saturday, for a noon doubleheader.
