Box Score WEATHERFORD, Okla. — The road has been a friendly place to Southern Nazarene this year as SNU had not lost a game on the road Sept. 21 and continued that streak Tuesday with a 3-1 (25-17, 27-25, 21-25, 25-21) win over Southwestern Oklahoma State.

Taylor Jacobs and
Jamie Hope both had double figure kills on the night as Jacobs had a team-high 12 while Hope had 11. Jacobs added 10 digs and two blocks while Hope had seven digs and seven blocks.
Kira Roberts and
Emily Dick each had nine kills.
Kaylee Piatt had 26 assists to go with her four digs and three blocks.
Brittany Curran had a career-high 25 digs while
Kaitlyn Belanger had 13.

The Crimson Storm (19-7, 9-1 GAC) hit .203 and had nine blocks on the night. SNU also out dug SWOSU 75-73.

Southern Nazarene gave up a four-point lead in the first set when the Bulldogs went on a 7-1 run to lead 13-11.
Emilee Crawford though sparked a 14-4 run to close out the set on back-to-back kills by Piatt and Roberts to lead 1-0.

The Storm were facing a 23-20 deficit in the second set when the Storm scored four straight to notch set point at 24-23. SWOSU tied it at 24 after a timeout, but the Storm took set point again at 25-24 and then again at 26-25 in a Roberts kill. Piatt then put it away with an ace to give the Storm a 2-0 lead in the match.

There were 17 ties and 11 lead changes in the third set with the final tie coming at 20-20. A SWOSU kill and two straight SNU errors gave the Bulldogs a 23-20 lead and then got two kills from Alison Cole to take a set off SNU.

Jacobs had four of her kills in the final set as SNU pulled away down the final stretch of the match. Hope broke a 16-16 tie with a kill and SNU never trailed again on the way to the win.

The Crimson Storm stay on the road and will no play No. 6 West Texas A&M, Saturday, at 2 p.m.
