OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. — Rich Hawkins threw a one-hitter for Oklahoma City as the top-ranked Stars run-ruled Southern Nazarene 10-0 in seven innings.
 
Hawkins went the distance and struck out 10. The lone hit came from John Basnight in the top of the second as he doubled to center.
 
After OCU scored three in the first, the Stars took advantage of an SNU miscue and turned it in to a 3-run home run and the rout was on. OCU added another in the fifth, two in the sixth and the final insurance and game-ending run in the seventh.
 
Tim Cole (0-4) took the loss for SNU as it fell to 7-15 overall and 3-6 in the SAC.
 
The Crimson Storm will now get set to host Mid-America Christian for a 1 p.m. SAC doubleheader.
