BETHANY, Okla. — Oklahoma Baptist's Richie Mirowski allowed just one earned run and five hits as OBU defeated Southern Nazarene, 11-1, in seven innings.
Five different Crimson Storm (12-12, 5-9 SAC) recorded hits, but the only SNU run was scored on a
Ryon Butts sacrifice fly to right field. Butts drove home
Chase Glaum who led off the bottom of the third inning with a single to left and tied the game at 1-1.
OBU scored the first run of the game in the top of the first and then retook the lead in the fifth on a Terrence Buchanan single to center as the Bison (24-5, 9-1 SAC) held a 2-1 advantage through the fifth. Reece Alnas' single through the right side gave OBU a 3-1 lead before the Bison put the game away with an eight-run seventh. Oklahoma Baptist then shut down the Storm in the seventh for the run rule.
Jake Bidelman (1-4) took the loss after giving up seven runs on seven hits in six innings of work. Mirowski moved to 7-0 on the year. Glaum,

James Tunnell all notched hits.
SNU left six on base and committed three errors as OBU stopped the Storm from winning its third straight game.
The Crimson Storm will now travel to Oklahoma Baptist, Saturday, for a 1 p.m. doubleheader.
