BETHANY, Okla. - Former Southern Nazarene University women's basketball standout Joanna Bailey Wiginton has been selected for induction into the 2026 Putnam City District Hall of Fame class.

A 1990 graduate of Putnam City West High School, Wiginton earned All-State honors during her senior season before continuing her basketball career at SNU. During her collegiate career, she became a three-time All-Conference selection and was named the Sooner Athletic Conference Newcomer of the Year in the 1990–91 season.

Wiginton later earned back-to-back All-American honors in 1992–93 and 1993–94. She played a key role in leading Southern Nazarene to the 1994 NAIA National Championship and was named the tournament's Most Valuable Player.

She will be inducted alongside 14 other honorees during the induction ceremony scheduled for Monday, Aug. 31, 2026.
