Crimson Storm Dominate Southern Arkansas in the Sawyer Center

SNU rolls to a 68-41 victory with balanced offense and strong defense

BETHANY, Okla. - Southern Nazarene kept the momentum going Saturday night, cruising to a 68-41 victory over Southern Arkansas inside the Sawyer Center. The Crimson Storm jumped out early and never looked back, building a lead in the first quarter and extending it throughout the game.

Southern Nazarene (7-10, 7-6 GAC) had balanced scoring across the lineup, with multiple players in double figures. Jordan Hoffman scored 10 points to help spark the offense, while Braci Nyberg added 10 of her own. Nessa Begay led the way with 13 points, and Lexi Mackey chipped in 7 as part of the team's depth. Southern Arkansas (10-9, 6-7 GAC) battled but struggled to find consistent scoring against SNU's pressure defense, which forced tough shots and limited opportunities.

The Crimson Storm moved the ball well and shot efficiently, finishing with 24 made field goals and nine three pointers. Their defense continued to set the tone, limiting Southern Arkansas offensive chances and creating scoring opportunities on the other end.

Southern Nazarene shot 47.1 percent from the field while holding Southern Arkansas to just 28.3 percent shooting, helping the Crimson Storm maintain control from start to finish and close out the 68-41 win.
