SNU Competes at PSU Tune-Up

Crimson Storm grabs top finishes and NCAA marks in Pittsburg

PITTSBURG, Kan. - Southern Nazarene Track & Field made the trip to Pittsburg State for the PSU Tune-Up and put together another solid weekend of performances.
On the men's side, William Ramirez placed seventh in the 5000 meters with a time of 16:10.26.

In the 400 hurdles, Darius Petties took ninth at 58.21, Korbyn Asencio followed in 10th with a 59.04, and Malachi Allen finished 12th at 1:01.35.

SNU's 4x400 relay team of Maximus Washington, Brendan Cravens, Korbyn Asencio, and Malachi Allen grabbed second place finish.

In the high jump, Brendan Cravens placed ninth with a mark of 1.85 meters. Tyler Deisering finished sixth in pole vault after clearing 4.32 meters.
 

In the javelin, Colter Bufford threw 64.08 meters for a third place finish and an NCAA Provisional mark. Dylan Warden placed twelfth with a 50.74 throw.

On the women's side, Abriel Thrash placed 11th in the 200 meters with a time of 25.21. She also earned fourth in the high jump with a mark of 1.72 meters, good for an NCAA Provisional.

In throws, Eve Brennan placed eighth in the discus with a mark of 43.61 meters and took 12th in the hammer with a 46.09 toss.

The Crimson Storm will head to Shawnee, Oklahoma for the Great American Conference Championships, set to take place April 30 through May 3.
