Crimson Storm Earns Multiple GAC Honors

SNU Players and Coach Recognized for Standout Season

RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. - The Great American Conference honors have been announced, and the Crimson Storm Men's Basketball team has made a strong statement, securing several accolades. The Storm finished the regular season with a 17-5 conference record and a 20-6 overall record, earning the No. 1 seed in the GAC Tournament.

Three players received GAC honors Stevie Strong was named to the First Team, Baron Bracey was named to the Second Team, and Jeremy Golson earned Honorable Mention All-GAC for Southern Nazarene.

Head Coach BJ Foster was named GAC Coach of the Year, which marks his first honor with the Crimson Storm. Foster's squad spent six straight weeks in the NABC Top 25 poll ranking as high as No. 12, while sitting atop of the GAC standings for the entire 2024-2025 season.

Stevie Strong, a senior from Kansas City, Missouri, was a standout for the Crimson Storm this season, earning him unanimous First Team honors. Strong ranks sixth in the conference in scoring with 417 points, playing in 23 games and logging 718 minutes. Strong also knocked down 86 free throws out of 109 attempts, for a free throw percentage of .789. He currently ranks third in the conference with 118 assists and fifth in steals, recording 41 steals on the season.

Baron Bracey, a junior from San Diego, California, earned Second Team honors for his strong contributions. Bracey played in 26 games, totaling 884 minutes, and scored 353 points for the Storm. He also recorded 154 rebounds, averaging 5.9 per game. Bracey dished out 67 assists with an average of 2.6 per game. He also notched 32 steals and led the team in minutes played with an average of 34.0.

Jeremy Golson, a graduate student from West Palm Beach, Florida, earned Honorable Mention All-GAC honors. Golson had a solid three point shooting performance, hitting 61 three pointers with a percentage of .399 and scored 215 points for the Crimson Storm. He ranks sixth in the conference in three pointers per game, averaging 2.3 over the course of 26 games.

The Storm also saw three players named to the GAC Academic Honor Roll: Luca Cawthorn-Breheny, Tracy Godfrey Jr., and Timur Kruplalija.

With the GAC Tournament ahead, the No. 1 seeded Crimson Storm are focused as they prepare to face No. 8 Arkansas Tech University on Thursday, March 6 at 8:00 p.m. at the Southside Arena in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
