Storm Compete in Hendrix

Strong performances in long jump and high jump highlight the meet

CONWAY, Ark. - Southern Nazarene's Track and Field team hit the road for a one day competition at the Hendrix Invitational in Conway, Arkansas.

On the men's side, Brendan Cravens delivered a strong showing, securing second place in the high jump with a mark of 1.85 and second place in the long jump at 6.42.

Dylan Warden put together a solid performance as well, finishing eleventh in the shot put with a mark of 10.55, fifth in the hammer throw at 38.93, and ninth in the javelin with a mark of 42.83.

For the women, Eve Brennan stood out with a pair of third place finishes in the shot put at 12.40 and the discus at 37.81.
Sarah Herring also had a solid performance, placing sixth in the discus with a mark of 36.80.

Brennan continued her success in the hammer throw, taking third with a mark of 44.62, while Herring finished 11th at 31.17.

The Crimson Storm will travel to Coffeyville, Kansas to compete in the Dean Pryor Invite Thursday, March 13th.
