Storm Compete in Pittsburg

SNU Shines at Rumble in the Jungle Invitational

PITTSBURG, Kan. - The Southern Nazarene University Track and Field team made the trip to Pittsburg, Kansas, to compete in the Rumble in the Jungle Invitational meet.

On the men's side, Maximus Washington finished 16th in the 400 meters with a time of 49.99, followed by Terrance Green, who placed 19th with a time of 50.69.

In the high jump, Brendan Cravens cleared 1.79 meters to secure 12th place, while Tyler Deisering placed 18th in the pole vault with a mark of 4.33 meters.

Patrick Uzzle represented the Storm in the long jump, landing in 17th place with a mark of 6.44 meters.

On the women's side, Remi Murray finished 11th in the pole vault with a mark of 3.47 meters.

Eve Brennan took 15th in the shot put with a throw of 11.67 meters and also placed 19th in the weight throw, hitting a mark of 13.54 meters.

In the 600 yards race, Jasmine Brown finished 18th with a time of 1:36.31, while Abbey King crossed the line in 25th place with a time of
1:46.93.

The Crimson Storm will travel to Topeka, Kansas to compete in the Washburn Open/Multi on January 31 and February 1.
