Crimson Storm Dominate Wayne State College and Oklahoma

Women's Rugby cruises past Wayne State College and Oklahoma, 90-0

BETHANY, Okla. - The Crimson Storm hit the pitch as they hosted Wayne State College and Oklahoma. Southern Nazarene dominated both matches, taking down both squads 90-0.

SNU took on Wayne State College first as eight different Storm members tallied at least one try. Lauren Anderson, Bayli Gilliland, and Hannah Davis all put up two tries a piece. Maya Hartnett led the way with three total tries. Riley Erickson also had herself a game as she was 10/14 on conversions to contribute a total of 20 points.

The Storm then took on the Sooners as they dominated them as well. SNU has 12 different Storm members try this match. Palu Sau and Hartnett put up two tries apiece, while Bayli Gilliand put up three. Maddie Metier made some noise as well, as she posted one try and five conversions to put up 15 points on the scoreboard.

Next Up

The Crimson Storm will host Brigham Young and Texas on Saturday, October 5. The first match will begin at 10:00 am and the second match will follow at 12:00 pm at the SNU Rugby Pitch.
