Storm Tab 174 Academic All-Conference Honors

Numerous SNU Athletes earn GAC Academic All-Conference Honors

RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Great American Conference announced its 2023-2024 Academic All-Conference honors as the Crimson Storm ranked third in the conference with 174 All-Academic honorees.

The Crimson Storm led the conference for All-Academic honors in numerous sports including men's soccer and football while men's golf tied for the top spot.

The 51 SNU football honorees led their sport and were marked the highest number in any sport across the league. The Storm volleyball team also produced the second most Academic All-Conference Honors.

According to the GAC "For student-athletes to be recognized on the Academic All-Conference team, they must have enrolled as freshmen prior to the fall of 2023. In addition, their grade-point average must be a minimum of 3.30 based on the 4.0 system. The GPA shall be cumulative for the athlete's entire collegiate career."

SNU Athletics made strides as they increased their number of All-Academic honorees from the previous year after tallying 163 in 2022-2023.
