SHAWNEE, Okla. - The Crimson Storm headed to Shawnee to compete in the Oklahoma Baptist Invitational. The Storm snagged numerous top finishes while competing against Division II, NAIA, and Junior College talent.
The women's squad was highlighted by Abriel Thrash who continued to make a name for herself. Thrash competed in the women's heptathlon and grabbed another win in the event. She earned a top two finish in each of the events she competed in as well as a personal best in the shot put with a 12.15m mark. Her final score of 4754 was enough to earn her an NCAA provisional.Â
Carissa Burns also saw great success as she finished seventh in the 100m with a time of 12.31. She also grabbed a sixth-place finish in the 200m with a time of 25.39. She also helped lead the 4x100m relay to a ninth palace finish and the 4x400m relay to a seventh-place finish.
Cheyanne Gaymon grabbed a top-ten finish in the 100m hurdles with a time of 15.07. She also was a part of the 4x100 relay that finished ninth.Â
Noelle Brezillac placed fifth in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:15.21 which earned her a personal best as well. She was also a member of the 4x400m relay that finished seventh.
Eve Brennan competed in the women's discus earning a sixth-place finish with a 37.97m mark. She also earned a sixth-place finish in the women's hammer with a 38.00m mark.
The Storm men also saw a good amount of success over the weekend. CaLee Williams led the way in the 100m for SNU as he finished sixth with a time of 10.82.Â
Maximus Washington claimed a third-place finish in the 400m race with a time of 49.54. He also helped earn a second-place finish on the 4x400m relay team.
Jo'Quan Howard added a ninth-place finish in the 110m hurdles with a time of 16.61. Darius Petties on the other hand earned a tenth-place finish in the 400m hurdles after running a 58.77.Â
The SNU 4x100m relay team of Patrick Uzzle, Jose Ortiz, Edward Thomas, and CaLee Williams earned a fourth-place finish. The Storm also had both 4x400m relay teams in the top 10, one earning a second-place finish and one earning an eighth-place finish.Â
Colton Sydnes earned a seventh-place finish in the high jump with a 1.80m mark. The Storm also had two top-ten finishes in the long jump from Williams and Kielon McQuarters. Williams earned an eighth-place finish and McQaurters earned a ninth-place finish.Â
Williams also earned a ninth-place finish in the triple jump with a 12.62m mark. Colter Bufford rounded out the field events with top-ten finishes in the shot put, hammer, and discus.

The Storm will head to Pittsburg State Saturday, April 6 to compete in the Gorilla Classic.
