WICHITA, Kan. - The Crimson Storm headed to the campus of Wichita State to continue their indoor season. The Storm competed against numerous Division II, NAIA, and Junior College programs at the Wilson Invitational.
The Crimson Storm women collected a handful of top-10 finishes. SNU saw success from their female long-distance runners such as Isabel Lynch who ran her personal best in the mile after finishing sixth with with a time of 5:38.29.
Elora Jones competed in the 800m race finishing sixth with a time of 2:34.55. Carisa Burns led the way for the Storm in the 200m finishing eighth with a time of 26.78.
Abriel Thrash continued to find success for the Storm placing third in the 600m race with a 1:43.09 time. Thrash also finished fifth in the high jump and twelfth in the shot put. She hit personal best marks in all three events.

The Crimson Storm men also saw success in Wichita. Calee Williams collected a personal best in the triple jump after a seventh place finish with a mark of 42' 10.75".
Patrick Uzzle led the way for SNU in the long jump. He posted a mark of 21' 9" to snag a sixth-place finish.
Kielon McQuarter competed in the high jump finishing ninth with a 6' 2.75" mark.
The SNU men's 4x400 team of Darius Petties, Malachai Allen, Terrance Green, and Scott Lynch saw success yet again finishing fifth.
The Storm collected three top-10 finishes in the 800m race. Dennis Green finished sixth with a time of 2:04.89. Austin Miller finished seventh with a time of 2:06.06. Kayden Chaparro rounded out the group with an eighth-place finish and a time of 2:06.58.
Malachai Allen finished fourth in the 600m with a time of 1:27.13.
Scott Lynch collected a fifth-place finish in the 400m after posting a 52.19 time. Terrance Green followed behind with an eighth-place finish and a time of 52.46.

The Storm will be back in action on February 2 in Topeka, Kansas to compete in the Washburn Open/ Multi's meet.
