Bethany, Okla.—Head Men's Basketball Coach at Southern Nazarene University Adam Bohac has announced his resignation.
The SNU Athletics Department would like to thank Coach Bohac for his stellar 15 years of coaching at Southern Nazarene University. Bohac led the Crimson Storm Men's Basketball team through the transition from NAIA to NCAA DII and built the program into perennial contenders in the Great American Conference and Central Region.
Coach Bohac racked up over 300 wins at SNU and was the GAC Coach of the Year four times. The Storm won four Great American Conference regular season championships and one tournament championship under Bohac.
This past season, SNU captured another GAC Regular Season championship, as well as won two NCAA Tournament games for the first time in program history as they made their way to the Central Region Finals.
"Adam, his wife Christie and children Anderson, Addison, Abigail and Adleigh have been such an incredible part of the SNU family and I wish them all the best. Coach Bohac's level of winning excellence over 15 years has had such a positive impact on SNU Athletics," said Danny Thomason, Director of Intercollegiate Athletics.
The University of Central Missouri has announced the hiring of Coach Bohac for their vacant Head Men's Basketball Coach position. SNU Athletics will organize a search committee immediately with the hopes of naming a new Men's Basketball Coach in the coming weeks.
