BETHANY – With the sporting world being put on pause for the foreseeable future, Southern Nazarene athletics is taking a look back at some of the best teams across all sports in school history.
13 national championships and 107 national tournament appearances since its inception, but who is the best Crimson Storm team of all-time? SNU faithful, YOU get to make that decision for the inaugural 2020 "Storm Madness" event. The SNU Sports Information office has compiled a list of the 16 "best teams" in Storm history and have thrown them into a single-elimination bracket. The selection committee had a difficult time narrowing the list down to 16 and trying to select one team from every sport. 16 teams and only one gets the bragging rights.
SNU Athletics will be highlighting each individual matchup over a 24-hour span on Twitter and Facebook and fans will vote once per day on who they believe is the "better team". A further promotion of the "Final Four" and "Championship" matchups will commence once the bracket gets closer to completion as fans decide who is the "best SNU team of all-time".
The "Storm Madness" event will begin on Monday, March 23
rd at 10:00 a.m. with one matchup per day to vote on via Twitter, Facebook and Instagram story.
