ARKADELPHIA, Ark. — Southern Nazarene picked up a pair of wins in singles, but fell 7-2 at Henderson State in a Great American Conference match Friday.
 
The Crimson Storm lost all three doubles matches as Noelia Gomez and Judit Mas fell 8-3 at No. 1 while Anna Garcia and Dragana Samardzic lost 8-6 at No. 2. Zoe Gray and Polina Chala also lost at No. 3, 8-4.
 
In singles, SNU got wins from Polina Chala at No. 2 and Judit Mas at No. 5. Chala won 6-1, 6-3. Mas lost her first set 6-4, but rallied to win 6-4 in the second set. She then took the match by winning the final set 6-2.
 
Gomez won her first set 7-5 on No. 20 (Central Region) Annie Shannon but fell 6-4, 6-1, in the final two sets at No. 1. Garcia also won her first set 7-5, but lost 6-2 and was down 3-0 when she retired due to injury at No. 3. Samardzic also won her first set as well, 6-2, at No. 4, but also lost her final two sets, 6-2, 6-3. Gray also lost 6-0, 6-2.
