EDMOND, Okla. — Southern Nazarene picked up two singles matches Friday in a 7-2 loss to Angelo State at Oak Tree Country Club.

Polina Chala won at No. 1 and 2 singles. Gomez lost the first set 6-4 and was up 2-1 when her opponent retired. Chala won in straight sets 6-2, 6-4.
Anna Garcia fell 6-3, 7-5, at No. 3 while
Dragana Samardzic lost 6-4, 6-3, at No. 4.
Judit Mas pushed her match to a third-set tiebreaker at No. 5. She lost the first set 6-2, but bounced back with a 7-5 win in the second set. She lost the tiebreaker 10-4.
Zoe Gray also lost 6-1, 6-2, at No. 6.

In doubles, Gray and Gomez lost 8-2 at No. 1 while Garcia and Samardzic lost 8-5 at No. 2. Chala and Mas also lost 8-3 at No. 3.
