BETHANY, Okla. — Emilio Escobedo went 3-for-4 with a run scored for Southern Nazarene as it fell 8-3 in a non-conference game to Central Oklahoma Tuesday.

The freshman had half of the Crimson Storm's (8-12) hits as the other three all came from different players.
Hugo Kinebuchi (1-1) took the loss after giving up two runs on three hits in one inning of relief.
Cody Tolbert got the start and gave up two runs on three hits in two innings.

The Bronchos took advantage early with a run in the top of the first, but SNU got that back in the bottom half when
Garrett Perez scored on a ground out. The Bronchos pushed to 2-1 in the top of the second, but SNU answered again in the bottom half. SNU added two this time to lead 3-2 as
Christian Dent drove in the first run with a bloop single to left center before
Shelby Reese scored on a wild pitch.

UCO tied the game at 3-3 in the top of the fourth and took the lead at 5-3 with two in the sixth. Central Oklahoma made it 8-3 with two in the seventh and one in the eighth. The Storm got one back in the bottom of the ninth on a UCO error to make it 8-4, but that was as close as SNU came.
