·   Prepped three varsity seasons at Canyon Crest Academy in San Diego, where he graduated in 2017
·   Compiled a 0.93 ERA and struck out 26 in 30 innings pitched as a senior
·   Named Team MVP Pitcher
·   Was a two-time San Diego Tribune All-Academic Team selection
·   Recorded a 0.84 ERA as a junior as he struck out 27 in 25 innings pitched
·   Received the Jackie Robinson Award for the most dedicated player on the team as a sophomore
